B I O G R A P H Y

Valmur was chosen for his role at a hatching. Out of his three siblings and him, the Night shades chose him. Growing up he was always away from his parents and not with his siblings. He grew up on the Mainland of the Clan, Nowren, and was taught from a young age how to be a perfect ruler. As well as being taught how to control his power with a simple flick of a claw. His power being the ability to bend the wills of dragons around him. This essentially means mind control, but as he says, the Night Shades have to make everything fancy.

He is known for being rude, snarky, and easily agitated. Although, he wasn't always like this. He used to be a happy hatchling who was always laughing and playing with his siblings, but he was slowly torn from that life while being the Watcher. He always had a slight resentment towards the Night Shades for choosing him to fulfill this role within the clan instead of one of his siblings. Although, he never voiced these feelings as he truly had no reason to feel this way, at least that's what he thought. Everything in life was handed to him on a silver platter, and whenever he visited the islands he was always greeted by the happiest dragons. All these things piled together changed his attitude towards life, and his mood in general. This gradual change was never an issue in the Night Shades eyes, they just wanted the best for him and the clan.

It's quite normal to see Valmur flying between the islands from time to time. He needs his space just like any other dragon and the way he does this is by flying to one of the smallest islands farthest out from Nowren, and sitting in the hammock of vines he had made years ago. It was common knowledge among the clan that if Valmur was not to be found, and he was needed, to look there. He had chosen this place as a safe space to take naps, and he didn't like being interupted from his thoughts. Although, he knew that the dragons of the clan were just as important as he was, and that he needed to care for them.

B I O G R A P H Y

Valmurs home can be found on the biggest island in the Archipelago known as Nowren. He chose to have his home be built high in the trees in hopes of having some seclusion from the rest of the clan. It can only be reached by flying up the giant trees and towards the large wooden structure. His home is one that doesn't look stable upon first glance, but is the nicest and prettiest tree house once one can actually see it. It's high up in the trees, almost reaching the leaves. The small bits of light that escape from the thick canopy illuminates the area. In the trees and branches surrounding it there are thousands upon thousands of small glowing orbs or lights that seem to be protecting his home, or more precisely, him.

The trees that hold up his tree house are almost big enough that an imperial could wrap themselves around it and not be able to touch their tail. The huge trees reach almost a thousand feet into the air before the canopy can be seen. Valmurs home is made between two of these trees, taking support from both. The house, although interesting looking, is one of the biggest feats of building the islands have seen in years. Logs can be seen reaching from one tree to the other creating a huge platform to build upon. Once in front of it three stories can be seen from the outside, each smaller than the previous. Mossy wood can be made out as the walls, logs holding everything together. It almost didn't make sense how the structure was standing, it seemed as if magic itself was holding it up. The house was covered in dense colorful foliage that only stopped at the occasional window. Vines draping from all possible surfaces, and falling down from the canopy outside of his home. The doors stood tall, and let enough room that a full other wildclaw could stand above him as he walked inside. His home was amazing to say the least.
