Farfalla came from a nature flight clan, who apparently wanted nothing to do with him after he picked a fight with a popular clanmate. What the fight was actually about is anyone's guess. It isn't exactly clear how or when he started wandering around Lightning territory, but when asked, he simply says he took a wrong turn and got lost. Despite his efforts to run away from his past, a little bit of it has come back to haunt him in the form of Forte.

Farfalla is one of those unfortunate dragons who knows just how pretty he is. He spends countless hours preening his scales and feathers. Apparently he was quite the ladies' drake in his old clan, and seems to be leaning towards keeping up the tradition. He's garnered the interest of both Magnase and a few other of the female dragons, and seems to have no plans of being monogamous.

As a Nature dragon, he spent a good deal of time trying to make the lair more hospitable for himself, and finally managed to get some tiny cacti to grow from seed. He continued on with a patch of ivy, some glowing mushrooms, and has finally culminated into a fully functional meal-producing garden. Farfalla's nature energy is partially responsible for keeping all of the foliage healthy, but also has the side-effect of encouraging moss and various odd foliage that now litters the lair. It's starting to get a little annoying.

He is very dismissive of any dragon he considers to be his intellectual inferior, which has led to some very uncomfortable smart-offs between him and Capli. He spends most of his free time with Magnase, grooming dirt from his scales and pretending that he's better than everyone else. He seems to have feeling for her, and she is willing to tolerate his dalliances.
