B I O G R A P H Y

Bane grew up in harsh conditions as a young hatchling. He was surrounded by dragons who were a part of the viscous Plaguelands. It wasn't that his parents were bad dragons either, they weren't. They cared for him a lot and did their best to raise him in the tough, Plague dragon way of things. He learned to hunt and to fight, he learned to not be scared of what the lands had to offer. He grew to be strong, until on came the cults that resided within the Plague. Many of the cult related dragons stayed to themselves and chose not to act out, but they soon realized that stepping out wouldn't be that much of a worry. So, his parents knew it was time to leave the Plaguelands and see if they could be granted shelter someplace else.

One of the many things that Bane learned was that many other dragons from the different lands saw Plague Dragons as dirty and insane. Bane wished he could say this wasn't true but it was, especially with the arising cults that were gathering. No matter how hard they tried to escape many dragons denied them anywhere to stay. Leaders chased them out and Bane and his family were right back in the Plaguelands. At that point, his parents decided it was time to join one of the arising cults rather than turn against them. Bane was horrified by his parents decision and wanted to escape, but the corruption in the Plaguelands was too much, and he had to leave. He remembered his parents chasing after him, his own parents! It struck him as too much to handle, but he was fortunate enough to be able to escape and go into hiding. However, where he was ended up being both a heaven and a living hell for him.

The Shadowlands proved to be different then most other kingdoms, it was silent and still. No dragon walked along the paths, at least the Plaguelands had some activity, here it was empty. Or so it felt until he ran into a town that had been completely destroyed. He remembered stepping on the bones of dragons and looking at the dead and rotted bodies. This seemed more like the Plaguelands then the Plaguelands itself. For a minute he thought that maybe those cults had made it here and were now punishing other dragons for not joining them. It wasn't until he took a look inside one of the few standing houses when he learned what had happened.

B I O G R A P H Y

An old and dying Spiral dragon was laying in the ruins of a house. He looked up at Bane and must've noticed his confused and horrified look for he slowly lifted up his head and told him in a weak voice "the Shadow Stalkers". Bane was confused, the Shadow Stalkers? What were they? Monsters? Before he could ask the dragon anything else, he had already closed his eyes and the fire of life was beginning to burn out of him. Bane left as soon as he could, trying to find answers for all that was happening.

Soon he found himself traipsing through a dark forest when he was pounced on by a young, fiery Wildclaw who looked almost like him. She was different in almost every way possible, he attitude was different, and so were eyes. They were pure flames, nothing like the dark red of the Plague. Bane found himself face to face with the Wildclaw who was now going off claiming he had ruined her hunting. However, she soon seemed surprised and realized he wasn't a part of her home. She asked him if he knew of the Shadow Stalkers, or was a part of them. Bane quickly said no, afraid he might get his throat slit open by the dragon. She insisted he followed her and a short minute later, they were in a wondrous village. Bane wasn't used to this, the Plaguelands never had areas like this before. This was where he met the two leaders of the village by the name of Soraia and Cygnus, both realized he wasn't from the Shadowlands and agreed to tell him what was happening.

Bane had never once thought that the Shadow Stalkers were as evil as these dragons claimed. Then he realized horror of having them slaughtering innocent dragons, and performing experiments on victims, torturing them all for fun and for their "purpose". Bane wanted to fight almost immediately and was allowed to train under the general, Monarch. As hard as the training was, he felt he truly belonged here. He grew closer to the young Wildclaw, who went by the name of Adira. Bane tried not to focus on the Plaguelands and their own problems. He wondered what would happen if they decided to team up, better to not. Bane would rather focus on the now, then on what could happen in the near future.
