NIILOI... Secret ninja hug ATTACK!! Niiloi found it hard to adjust to the cold surroundings of his new home. He was born in scorching heat, yet now lives in frigid temperatures of the Southern Icefields. His Will o’ Ember was gifted to him by other members of the clan so that he could keep warm. His Sunspot Clouddancer stays close to them too... He fancies himself as a bit of a ninja. He tries to move swiftly in the shadows, sneaking up on his unsuspecting prey. Stealth is the key to any covert mission. As a result, he’s the clan’s top hunter for meat, bugs and fish. |

This fast dragon zips around the Southern Icefields with his trusty Sunspot Clouddancer. He loves his feathered friend, and they often race together with Atavus. Niiloi usually keeps to himself and his animal companions, but he has always considered Atavus a very good friend. While scouting for new food sources, he came across an adorable octopus which he decided to keep as a pet. It's quite hard to keep the seafood eating dragons away from his tentacled friend, which has resulted in the octopus learning a few stealth skills of its own. |

YOKE... {**cheep cheep**} This is Niiloi’s familiar. But his pet octopus seems to have done something strange... Or was this the Clouddancer's idea? Niiloi isn’t really sure how it happened. Yes he loves them both, but can he really love them like this? Absolutely. However, he’s not sure if they’re still two creatures or somehow fused together as one? He has named them Yoke (not Yolk as he doesn't want his clan mates mistaking them for food...) |

The clan has been living in the Southern Icefields for several years now. A large respite station has formally been opened by the clan near the north-eastern coast. Niiloi’s best friend has started his own delivery service! Niiloi is a little confused why Atavus didn’t tell him about it... Maybe it was supposed to be a surprise? (Atavus really didn’t like Niiloi much before working together). SOUTHERN COURIER SERVICE Atavus is the owner of the mail delivery service. Niiloi knew that Atavus had a few side jobs which made him busy by flying between nearby lairs, but he never expected this. While plans for the business were being drawn up, Niiloi took the chance to become a part of it. They race against each other almost every day now. Niiloi and Atavus are fairly well matched. It begins with customers bringing their letters and packages to their counter near the main entrance of the station. Most of the time they are out on a delivery mission, so their “dispatcher” handles the tasks of payment and mail sorting. Yes, it is Yoke. Yoke has a surprising role in Southern Courier Service. They say two heads are better than one... I guess it really is true? Yoke is quite smart, and he can even count up to 10. 10! Letters to be delivered cost 10 gems, and parcels are three sets of 10 gems! See, he’s very smart. Yoke’s octopus limbs are very capable at handling currency and letters. He organizes everything behind the counter, and inventories the mail so it’s ready when the Spirals return from their flights. A large map of the Icefields is pinned up behind the counter so Yoke can record where parcels need to be delivered. His wings help him to fly up to the map and the mail sorting shelves... Yoke isn’t very tall after all.  Arrived 27/01/2016 |
