Some time ago, an unnamed group gathered a group of eleven eggs, one from each element, for a nefarious ritual. What their purpose was is unknown. Only that when done, they threw the eggs in the garbage, their purpose fulfilled. This group was destroyed in righteous fury over the theft of the eggs.

What they didn't realize was that the eggs survived there in the rubbish heap. There they hatched, abandoned, without anyone nearby. Something wasn't quite right about them however. Magical energy practically hummed around them and their eyes glowed with power. Even their voices were odd, having an odd kind of buzz to it.

The eleven quickly formed a sisterhood of sorts and took care of each other. It didn't take them long to figure out that they unnerved others. Rather than take them in, whenever anyone came across them they either shied away or were outright hostile to them. They grew up pretty much feral, living on what they could scrounge up themselves and the occasional gift from the more soft-hearted(though again, no one was willing to take them in).

Eventually Deucalia, Clan Australis' leader, persuaded them to take up residence with her clan. While they primarily keep to themselves, they have settled in and have learned to control their abilities. They have taken to magic like a fish to water.
