BIOGRAPHY
Vaenta turned up in the hatchery out of the blue one day, and who could turn such a child away? Besides, that is not the way of these dragons here. She was given her name 'Vaenta' by her happenstance caretakers.

Day after day trailed by, and she did not seem to grow. It is thought that perhaps she may suffer from a curse of some sort, though if there is a cure, one cannot be found, stumping the clan's most skilled healers and mages. She seems content enough, seeming even to thrive; and though she does not speak, she is calm, predictable, and trusted enough to be allowed to watch over other young hatchlings and eggs from time to time when the help is needed, or else left to wander freely and do as she pleases.

None yet seem to know that the child is not afflicted with a curse - she is actually a changeling. In her wanderings, free from curious eyes and well-meaning caretakers, she takes on many forms around Brightwinter - dragons, ice sculptures, familiars, the possibilities of things to learn and forms to assume are endless. If her origins are known, or she has any agenda beyond simply existing here and acquiring new experiences, she does not share them with others. Only time will tell what her presence in Brightwinter could mean for the clan, or for her.
