Devoted and madly-in-love lifemate to Thistle, despite the difficulties they've had conceiving. When the two of them are together (which is more or less all of the time), her sappy side shines through with all the subtlety of a lighthouse. Despite her lovestruck gushing, however, Rosette is no delicate mild-mannered flower. As a child of Lord Bismol and Lady Pepto, Rosette has noble blood and a deeply-ingrained rebellious streak, meaning she brooks no bossing from anybody.

Like most Snapdragon Steppe Snappers, Rosette gets along with Venka quite well. She's one of the few actually able to keep up with the likes of him; when his airship is completed, there's little doubt who'll be first mate.
