Liriel used to be a high energy dragon but after her last eight hatchlings were all exalted to the Windsinger as Unnamed babes - neither identified or allowed to reach adulthood - she became withdrawn. She spends her days in meditation. Her familiar Churlish defends her space, keeping those who would disturb her away while he lives within her pearl, which Liriel hollowed out for his convenience. She is from the Time of Sixx so considers the majority of the dragons in this lair as bothersome youngsters. Xanthantha has been allowed to visit, but only to meditate with her. Hers is a sad and lonely existence by her own choice.

Wyldyrn and Shadymum offered her a brightening from her rather dull appearance, encouraging a change of genes from her two shimmering yet somehow plain colors and convincing her to display her tertiary. Although Liriel doesn't brag, she is quite pleased with the changes.

Slowly she has allowed additional companions to creep and pad into her space. A Boa she is considering naming Sssissster and a Spaniel named Tibbs now are often near her.

Wonderful magics happened - her exalted babes grew to adulthood! Hopefully one day they will find names.

Liriel had grown used to wearing disguises and still feels comfortable in them, but is no longer quite so withdrawn in her new genes. Altho she can often be found in a skin or accent, she keeps a picture of her true self so that Churlish doesn't get confused. He can be very ... err ... churlish. He thinks she looks very sparkly with her glimmertum. He's glad he doesn't sparkle. He thinks it would detract from his glorious tail. Liriel agrees with him. She will do the sparkling and he will do the fancy tail thing.
