__ This new form suits him much better than his last. Few have seen what Grimoire was prior to his life in this clan; which, in the grand scheme of things, might be for the better. You see, dear reader, Grimoire was born a Nemesis (a vile creature who wreaks havoc on unsuspecting clans of sorcerers and non-mages alike). A thousand years passed as Grimoire traveled around Sornieth searching for a place where he wouldn't be persecuted. __ Most sorcerers and non-mage dragons despised his kind, hunting Nemesis like him and vanquishing any who tried to stand against them. Nemesis never attacked when left in peace, but facing near extinction their reputation soon morphed into its current state. Arriving in Arcane, Grimoire took refuge in a large clan whose size seemed to conceal many fleeing from various places. Here, Grimoire settled into the shadows, but gave aid to the mages and sorcerers of the clan in the hopes of building an alliance with them. So far, no one suspects anything of the dragon who appeared overnight, but how long will this last... |
