personality Andromeda at work and Andromeda with her friends are two very different dragons. When she's at work, she's serious, most of the time, and dedicated. She's unafraid to use force and is stubborn and steadfast. The only time she breaks at work is when she teases the little god over small things or tries to get him to open up to her. When she's with her friends, or not on duty, she's pretty goofy. She laughs loudly and makes bad jokes. She teases her friends a lot. She's known to thrown down a drink or two at the tavern and take to bad karaoke and even worse dancing. She's not exactly graceful, but she is fun and exciting. backstory Andromeda was nested in the Shifting Expanse. Her parents hailed from a plague clan, but were drawn to lightning due to immense power surges in the area. Three eggs were laid, but only one was lucky enough to be affected by the surge. Lightning surged through Andromeda's egg and forever changed her. When she hatched, lightning crackled across her scales. Her parents immediately commissioned for metal rods to be made for her. The rods channeled her lightning and stored it for her. As she learned to harness the lightning through magic, the channeled energy became a deadly force she could access whenever she wished. Andromeda grew up in a plague clan. She lived in the Abiding Boneyard. The sparse life and many skeletons made the perfect place for Andromeda to practice her magic. She could either channel it through her rods and summon massive storm clouds to ruthlessly strike down her enemies. Once Andromeda felt strong enough to leave her home, she traveled around, looking for somewhere to settle down. After a while, she came upon a large and wonderful city. She decided she would live there and use her magic to help and protect others. job Andromeda is one of the palace guards, but more specifically, she is the personal bodyguard of the little god, Adonis. She spends almost her whole day working. She gets a few hours off at night for social and recreational activities, but spends the rest of her time with the little god. The intense amount of lightning magic flowing through her keeps her awake at all times, so she has no need to sleep. She goes everywhere he goes. She stands guard outside his quarters while he sleeps, hangs out at the library while he studies, and tests all his food before he eats, lest he should be poisoned. While Andromeda takes her few hours of a break, one of the other palace guards watches over the little god, but everyone knows who he really prefers, not that he'd ever say it. |
