She'll be in the lobby, maybe on the high pedestrial, planing the next lair expansion with Cuttle; or maybe in the comfort area, playing a game of memory with the other Snappers of the clan. Snappers' version of Memory is always a fascinating affair for the spectators.
In the evening, she won't retire to the dorms. As a Snapper, she's in charge of keeping the incense clocks going. There's a big one the high pedestrial in the lobby, and a few smaller ones around the place. It was Massika's job to make sure they kept on going through the night, and to re-install the gongs in the morning.
She has a lot of spare time in the night. Her Shadow heritage gave her a perfect night vision, and she often prowled through the… more restricted parts of the lair. She went into the library, looked at what her fellow dragons had been reading. She went into the Hatchery, noting how many eggs there were and when they would hatch. She waited until the dragons of the HQ went to sleep. It was easy to anticipate - it was her that slipped a sleeping draught into the candlesticks, putting the whole lair asleep at two AM.
And every forthnight, she'd send a gull to her superiors back home in Shadow.

Massika was a spy. And a good one at that.
