This Gaoler has an incredibly kind disposition - never does he treat anyone wrong, and has amazing patience towards everyone. Yet somehow, he only happens to appear to those who need his kindness the most - and in the Primal Clan, that someone ended up being Belore. Due to a troubled past with the matriarch of the Wisp Chateau, and then the matriarch of the Primal gaolers, Elune, Belore has lost quite a bit of trust in dragonesses. Meryl, however, is the first to treat Belore with the patience and respect he deserves. Though Belore can be a handful due to his troubled past, Meryl stays with him despite it all for whatever reason. Those reasons do not seem to be ulterior - perhaps Meryl just sees a bit of himself in Belore. And for these reasons, Belore blessed Meryl with a fragment of his past, when he used to wear silver orbs in his mane and gold on his antlers. Now Meryl has the honour of wearing these adornments, but not as a symbol of beauty to any matriarch, but only because it represents the tranquility that resides within Meryl's soul.
