While transversing his daily travels thru the realm of Sornieth King Jareth heard a young coatl of vibrant and mellow hues singing to himself. This intreged His Majesty so much that he extended an invitation to the coatl to venture to the Filou clan of dragons settled in the Wispwillow Grove found in the Tangled Woods of the Shadowbinders realm.
Seemily so the Coatl took King Jareth up on the offer and in return was given a Long Crested Hippogriff to call his own as he found a nice little alcove amoungst the luminious mushrooms to call home. The hippogriff eyed the coatl warily, but was soon won over by his joyous and rather pleasant singing. As King Jareth left them he noticed the female imperial Chuchotement watching the new dragon from the shadows of her own lair.
Smiling to himself as the King knew it would be a matter of time, but true love could be such a powerful thing. And a song had a way of soothing the most wylde of beasts. The two began talking and found they were well matched. The Coatl sought back out King Jareth and requested a new name because he felt the one he had no longer suited him. King Jareth asked him why and he simply said he didn't feel like oddy anymore. His Majesty instated a naming day and gave him a scroll with his new name. No longer would he be Oddy henceforth he would be known as En Chantant and he would be the Filou Clans Minstrel forever more.
