Do you ever wonder how emperors are stopped from trampling all over Sornieth? They're incredibly powerful after all, powerful enough to trample entire clans without so much as a thought. Who would even be able to stand up against such beasts?

That's where emperor-wranglers step in.

These are dragons who were specifically chosen by their respective deities, and imbued with elemental magic far greater than their peers, specifically to minimalize the threat of raging emperors. When an emperor is detected, these brave souls are called up, in the hopes of managing to subdue it. It's a tough life, of course; despite being gifted by the gods, emperors are still far more powerful than them alone, and they must work in large groups to even stand a chance. Best case scenario, the emperor is slain, and the destruction minimalized. Worst case scenario...

Well, everyone dies. Simple as that.

Blitz is an ex-wrangler; having retired from the life after an emperor mortally injured him. He managed to survive, thanks to the help of his datemate, Bramble, and his fellow wranglers, but it did not leave him unscathed; he can no longer use magic without hurting himself, the gift the Earthshaker bestowed upon him rendered worthless thanks to it.

That's not to say Blitz cannot fight anymore; seeing as both his father and mother came from warrior bloodlines means that Blitz has been taught how to fight in many different ways from a young age. His bloodlines are part of why he was chosen by the Earthshaker, in all honesty.

Despite how unfortunate that all may seem, Blitz doesn't seem to mind terribly much. He's jovial, loud, and cheerful. In fact, he seems almost happier now than he was as a wrangler. Having settled down with his mate in the Purring Winds after they helped take care of his injury, he's a bit of a jack of all trades, always eager to help out where he can. Most of the time, however, he and Bramble can be seen meandering about the Main Platform or the gardens.

He and Bramble also teach draconic sign language to whoever asks.
