 Vannan observant • assertive • stubborn
Vannan leads the clan with Wildstep and Alethkar. Most of his leadership tasks involve giving a dragon permission to stay, settling small disputes, and announcing danger to the clan. He spends the most of his time designing things such as small robot creatures to do simple tasks or just look interesting. He spends the rest of his free time doing things Alethkar enjoys. His familiar Amethyst follows him no matter where he goes, and always watches any dragons who are near him.
• b a c k s t o r y •
Vannan came from a clan of busy dragons that spent all of their time working. The leader of the clan would often encourage them to work harder, saying it was good for them and good for the future. Vannan began talking to his friend Alethkar about leaving. The two dragons began hiding the resources they would need to escape, and after several months they had finally gathered enough materials to leave safely. The leader caught them escaping however, and the two dragons were forced to flee while leaving most of the supplies behind. What little food and water they had brought only lasted for a few days, leaving Vannan and Alethkar wandering around the Shifting Expanse in desperation for any help or sign of life. Just when they had given up, a mirror who called himself Mokkan found them and brought the two dragons to his camp. Vannan explained what had happened, and found out Mokkan had a similar story of the exact same town. Mokkan invited them to join his clan, and later Vannan took over leadership when Mokkan decided he was no longer fit to lead. |
