Euryale, Queen of Snakes, she whose gaze can turn any male to stone in the blink of a slitted eye. A half-dragon half-gorgon creature who resides in a crumbling temple deep in the windswept dunes, imperious Euryale rules over a harem of obedient female serthis who attend her, tolerating no unexpected visitors save for the snakes who flock to her adoringly.

Damned by the improper union of her parents, Euryale and her two sisters were each born with a head of writhing snakes over their feathers - punishment from an ancient goddess for their existence. The siblings were also blighted with unusual sight, their bright green eyes capable of turning all males they gazed upon to stone; another gift from the bitter goddess whose lover the sisters' mother had eloped with.

Loathing the one who had cursed her, Euryale denounced the old ways, openly defying the laws and teachings of her tribe, and reinventing herself as the Queen of the Snakes. Tormenting her clan before abandoning her family to found a lair fit for royalty, the coatl settled into a forgotten temple in the desert. Statues of Euryale's victims now decorate the entrance, a courtyard of death that serves as a warning to those who might come to harm her, or the occasional few who inexplicably find themselves drawn to her monstrous beauty. The strong pheromones of the gorgon are often carried far on the wind, as there are some needs that her slaves cannot satisfactorily provide, and a queen must eat after all...
