Sonya

Sonya is a cheerful lady, born in Dragonhome to noble parents in an ancient lair of Earth. But Sonya wasn't into the noblesse of her family and set out with a few things, making her way as a merchantwoman. It was in the Scarred Wasteland hawking "genuine" unicorn horn (that totally was not cut down crimson emperor antler and shed Imperial horns) that Sonya met a boy.

Like her, Frefer is always ready to make a deal or a buck, with an uncanny knack for producing whatever you were hoping to buy from the many bags he carries. Sonya had a crush on him immediately, even while managing to pull a fast one selling him "rare tea of the Sunbeam Ruins" which was really grass and herbs she yanked up near the border of Dragonhome and the Wasteland. Sonya's first instinct was to run for it when Frefer tracked her back down, having tried to re-sell the tea as the very mix beloved by the Arcanist himself to a Fae colony on the border with the Starfall Isles and found out the plants were worthless.

But Frefer's goal wasn't to hurt Sonya for swindling him, but to congratulate her savvy and express interest in a partnership with the spruce-winged girl who had pulled one over on him. Clinking their pearls together to seal the deal, the two young adults headed for fresh territory and marks in the Ashfall and the Outer Lands between two powerful clans.
