Gnarled and silent, Juniper's withered appearance lends him an air of otherworldly foreboding. He is thin as a bare winter branch, and his expression is just as stark. This grim countenance sets him apart even among the Citadel's Hunters. Certainly there are others with equally dim coats, but Juniper's eyes belie an extraordinary surrender to the present, barely appearing to give the next hour much notice, let alone the next day or week. And yet he is a Hunter, spending his time beneath the Citadel to quiet the Dead. His footsteps are nearly-silent, and those who work with him are sometimes startled at how little they hear him breathe. He has attuned his body to his surroundings - dark, quiet, searching - to get his job done and return home safely each day. Sometimes all that is seen of him as he prowls the tunnels is the reflection of light on his gembound scales, sometimes mistaken for the eyes of a great beast as he goes. Juniper carries himself with poise unlike other Hunters. Where Paige's mannerisms may be genteel and polite, they still carry a hint of the acquired. Juniper, however, holds habits that he wishes would break, as they often hold forth about a past he would rather not discuss. His mannerisms, his gait, the way he holds himself - they all tell the workaday clan he has come to call home that he was once nobility. |

- Original concept was from atimeforlions / 236828: Stealthy type, his grey coloring + the green gembond helps him blend in with mossy rocks. A quiet soul. Personally, the gembond makes me think of a wealthy lineage thats fallen on hard times. Totally has a sibling they're protective of (maybe adopted). |

- He is near-sighted and wears glasses at almost all times. - He carries himself with an air of dignity, something he must consciously work to obscure. It is his most natural gait and posture, and he hates when others ask him about it. - He has learned over the years how to move silently and avoid detection. |
