Biography

Fiamh Electrical Engineer Mate of Loicim Analytical | Brash oo Like most Mirrors, Fiamh grew up in a tangled and ever-changing pack that shrank and swelled with the changing of the wind. Unlike most, her hatchling-hood took place not in the sweltering pits of the plagued lands, but instead atop the broken, piecemeal icebergs in the Southern Icefield. However, the fractured nature of the Frigid Floes was well suited for her pack- the shift of the land and push of the lighting and fire foes well tailored to the migratory nature of Mirrors. But every blessing has a curse; every action a consequence, and Fiamh - well, Fiamh was her pack’s. |
Deep down in the floes, right where the light is heavy with a navy tinge and your ears ring with the sound of grinding ice and rushing water, strange things - unnatural things - occur. Fiamh was not born a normal Mirror. Though her eyes tinged white and her teeth pointed true, her skin grew blue and transparent; from her back, starting just behind her rigid flare, grew grasping, sparking arms and hands, too many to be counted. The pack was in awe in the truest sense of the word - confused, frightened, nigh amazed. It was undeniable.
In her veins, thrummed ice and lightning both. Yet nature is what nurture lends, and Mirrors are never the most commutative beasts at the best of times. So, Fiamh had as relatively normal a hatchling-hood a Mirror on the Frigid Floes could have. But there was always a sense of restlessness, of twitching and shifting and fidgeting coursing through Fiamh, and eventually she parted with her pack - neutrally, succinctly, as Mirrors do - and wandered across Sornieth to pick up what she could. Electricity had always been a cinch to her, of course, and it was with ease that she racked up an impressive reputation as a sort of ‘electrical engineer’. Fiamh always swears she was glad to have found Aduntas, on the days where one could get her to reminisce. ‘There’s a fair amount of Mirrors, here, although the Plagued Lands are just around the corner I suppose. It’s...nice to be around my own again. Nicer still to have ones like Loicim, who feel the urge to move just as I do.’ During her leisure time, Fiamh can - in private - be found painstakingly (literally painstakingly. Oftentimes it ends in a brawl.) teaching Loicim the rules to dragon’s chess, and practising her coordination with her many, many limbs. |
