Her pretty face fooled many, she would drag men to the grave with her looks, convince them to do her bidding. No matter how many men would lust after her, do anything and everything to try to give her the world, she would not settle. It was never enough. What would it take? What could ever tame her? A wild creature running from place to place, never in one town for long. She would sleep in the abandoned barns, small coves of cover, or take the gift of a bed from a kind man. They always had other intentions... It was never enough, they expected payment she was never willing to give. Her glares and ways with words always lead them to believe her to be something... different... Why would she want a single home? Who could bear such a jarring path? To never leave? to never travel? To find comfort? No, this was not her. There was always something waiting for her, calling her deeper and deeper to the unknown. Ease would never be something she would know. The kind gaze of another like her, is that would it would take? A rough but beautiful dragon. Her gaze.. it transcended past her looks as if she could see something more, something beyond the physical realm. She did not merely look at Henhowl, but gazed at her, admired her. Was this was was calling her? A mysterious female dragon... Her name.. Who was she? Presumably something more than her, how could a stowaway amount to a creature so elegant and strong? Her gaze didn't waver... Eventually this creature stood before her, this dark beautiful dragon, tattoos that engraved her skin, a stare so strong and fearsome but.. soft and gentile. She spoke her name, Wardance, she kept repeating it to her self, she couldn't let this slip away, not like everything else had. This is what home felt like, this feeling of comfort and warmth. This is where she belonged, by this dragons side. How long would this moment last? Is this just another fleeting moment, like all others... ________________________________________ |
