Outside of the main palace area are wide fields and a large, babbling brook that runs into the central sea. But the palace runs further back than you expect. As you walk out a set of enormous doors (heavy, intricately carved wood, embossed), you find yourself in a walled in yard of sorts. The ground is dusted heavily with sand, and wooden structures are set up all around. And they are all being used. The yard is full of motion. Dragons with weapons are scaling walls, some avoiding obstacles, running and flying. Standing off to the side is a worn dragon, almost menacing in appearance. He observes the wild motions of the yard, and nods slowly when he sees you approach. There's a hardness in his gaze, but it is not unkind. Just observing.

S T O R Y

Yrvylth started her clan on the banks of the water, among the reeds and rushes and bamboo, but she was not alone. Her faithful companion and childhood friend Orgaid was there with her. Like her, he was born alone, from a forgotten egg. On a bright and sunny day, the two hatchlings ran into one another, and became fast friends.

When it comes to the Forgotten Earth Clan, Yrvylth is the Queen Mother of all of them, but Orgaid is the defender of the clan. For a while, the two of them were mates, birthing the first clan members, before an amicable split as Yrvylth found herself attracted to a certain mapmaker and chronicler, and Orgaid devoted himself to the defense of the clan. Yrvylth focused on bringing everyone together. Orgaid focused on keeping those clanmembers safe.

Orgaid trains all of the members of the clan, and has taken Delight on as a second in command.
