It’s never ideal when dragons mess around with something as volatile and dangerous as magic, but when one parent says ‘you never know till you try’ and the other says ‘what are you afraid of?’, what reason have they not to find out?

Unsurprisingly, this is the same attitude they take to life. It makes for an exciting journey but in the thrill of it all, it’s easy to forget the last lesson: all magic has a cost.

Compared to their parents and sibling, Reon's approach to magic is almost... careful. They were quite solemn in their childhood and always paid attention when told; unfortunately, their potential was mediocre and they hadn't the ambition to succeed as their sister had.

Little did their family know that Reon had deceived them, that the young guardian knew the atrocities their mother was guilty of and hid their abilites from the very beginning. From their other parent, who taught them all they knew about herbs and healing, Reon became well aware of the threat that a combination of nonchalance, boredom, and incredible magical potential posed.

They left without saying goodbye. For a while, Reon eked out a living working in the Realmwalker Corps, an organisation dedicated to protecting Sorineth from otherworldly and supernatural threats. Then, they drifted from region to region, without family, without friends, and without purpose.

And now... well, what now? Reon's magical abilities are something they keep close to their chest and only make use of when forced. It is a curse, this power they have inherited. They refuse to see it any other way. 		x
