ABOUT.
Damocles is running out of time. There's a sword hanging over her head, a hair's breadth away from falling.

The sword is metaphorical. The danger is not.

Meet Damocles, a sea witch who can only survive short periods of time without water. Damocles was trapped in an oasis in the middle of the desert a hundred years ago, and now the oasis is drying up.

That’s the story she tells travellers. The truth of it is that she’s not in the oasis by accident. Damocles was tricked and imprisoned by her former students who discovered that she was a lot more, uh. evil than she claimed to be.

Anyway, decades of captivity have mellowed her considerably. Or so she promises.

But don’t worry about that. It looks really hot out there, huh? Wanna jump in my oasis for a swim?

IMPRESSIONS.
The imprisonment has done a number on Damocles, but you wouldn't be able to tell just from looking at her. She dabbles in illusions, so all you will see is a lovely skydancer with brilliant feathers and an alluring smile.
