Sif is a tenacious warrior and fierce combatant who has defied all the odds to get to her position. She was constantly thought of as being weaker due to her species and her sex, but always sought to prove those haters wrong.

Sif is one of Thor's best friends, though contemptuous towards his brother. She works directly under Frigga as part of her royal guard and is training to be one of her master strategists. Unfortunately, that means a lot of interaction with Loki, which has only deepened their animosity towards each other. Part of the animosity is because one of her dreams is to become Asgard's Master Strategists which puts her in direct competition with Loki for Frigga's tutelage. She has overcome so many hurdles but doesn't think she could eclipse the prince in winning Frigga's favour, which has made her resent him.
