Magaera is an excellent singer and actress. Known across Sornieth for her haunting songs, her beautiful voice, and the sheer emotion she put into every part of her work, the gaoler was quite happy with her life.

If sweetness and talent were protection, the accident would never have happened. Unfortunately, Mag was as subject to bad luck as any other. During one of her shows, the scenery gave way and swung down to knock her off the stage. While most of her was relatively undamaged, her eyes were both lost.

Luckily, one of Mag’s fans was a very famous scientist who was married to a very skilled healer. The dragon was rushed to a nearby hospital and her eyes were replaced with cybernetic ones. Her new eyes can not only see even better than her old ones, but they also can record what she looks at for later viewing. If she concentrates, Mag can also adjust her sight to be able to see small details.

While it took her awhile to recover completely and figure out how to deal with the changes, Mag went right back to doing what she’s good at. Adoring her fans as she does, she will often make up songs just for someone in the audience on the spot - especially if they’re celebrating something.

In between tours, BlindMag - as she’s now called - rests away from all the adulation. Chaotic Daydreams may be full of strangeness, but at least it’s a place where she can be herself and not be on stage. And even the best performers need that once in a while.
