Bishop absolutely adores his clan and never has any plans to leave. However, he cannot sit still for too long. Discovery is his favorite thing in life. Discovery of new places, of old places unearthed, and of new friends and knowledge.

He puts on his most sturdy clothes and ventures out quite often to see what interesting new things he can come across and bring home to share with his friends and family. Quite often, he'll take enterprising little hatchlings out for field trips so they, too, can learn about the wonders of the world at large... even if it just starts in their own little corner of it.

When he is trapped at home due to some obligation or the weather being impossibly foul, Bishop can be found trying to explore the deepest uncharted parts of the lair that are under cover so that he can at least feed his need for novelty a little bit.

In addition, he is the one who brings most of the unhatched eggs or seemingly-lost dragons home with him. His sweet, caring nature is legendary and his patience is the source of amazement for many of the others in the lair who cannot handle too much newness at once. But Bishop considers new dragons - even rowdy young ones - some of his best discoveries in his travels.
