Trench Aquastone

Trench Aquastone was an orphan by the sea and away from his species original home, the Shifting Expanse where the lightning strikes metal spires in the desert. Instead he had been abandoned by the Sea of a Thousand Currents, where although there is plenty there to sustain his diet and plenty of sand to polish his scales, there is enough water to prevent bringing him pleasure in his life. Determined to stay true to what he has heard of Ridgebacks, he does NOT like water one bit, and so avoids it and his job as a fisher and salvager as much as possible, going into the waters only to get what he desperately needs. Most of the time he tries to borrow from other dragons instead of getting wet just to survive without having to deal with the salty sea. He doesn't shine his bejeweled scales often like he wants too because they always get dirty by the time he's done with his watery task and so cleaning is almost a chore rather than a pleasantry with how many times he's had to do it over and over again. Since he tends to avoid the water as much as possible, he came upon a Rabid Grinfin who was injured and left behind. Having been abandoned as well, he realized he could relate to the creature and decided to help nurse it back to good health, hunting for and feeding it and staying by its side while it was incapable of defending itself. The two grew close and became best pals as they grew up together.

On one of his research trips to study the geology in the Sea of a Thousand Currents, Yellowstone came to the shores where Trench lived. He noticed that Trench was scrawny, dirty, and completely unattended and offered for Trench to join him and his clan. Despite being from a totally different element, Trench agreed and they flew back to Glorian's clan. He now occupies himself digging out burrows and dens for himself and other dragons that prefer them and cleaning himself up for once. He is known to be a tricky sneak that borrows other's stuff from time to time, but it's always resolved in the end. He still goes back to the Sea of a Thousand Currents just to have something familiar to him and a job to do whenever he gets homesick.... even though he absolutely hated it there.

Nicknames: Grinny Boi, Finny Boy, Grinny, FinFin, Finny, Fin
Grinny FinFin is a sweet and loyal companion. He likes to steal others' prized possessions so they would chase him for fun before returning the object. Sometimes he would sneak in to grab an object, hide it somewhere safe, and as soon as they don't need it anymore or stop looking he'll put it right back where he found it in plain sight. He means no harm, just wants to have fun and play with everyone. If he senses a person isn't safe to be around he'll stick close to those he wants to protect and stops grinning, giving him a somber, obedient vibe. Those who get to know him will be able to easily read the clear body language of Grinny and know when something is wrong or what he wants from them.
