Biography
Falling in love with Solstice was easy. Worrying about her was also easy.
Knowing her past did not change the way Celandine looked at her, but it did change the way that he studied her actions.
Amet was no danger, at least for the moment. His presence was eerie, sure, but he wasn't outwardly evil. He was welcomed by the guild leader, despite his past. Every drake was welcome here. But the Shade held another meaning for Solstice, and knowing this increased Celandine's worry for what sort of whirlwind thoughts went through her head.
He knew Solstice loved him, and their three flourishing hatchlings, but there was still a weight on her mind. From afar, she'd speak with Amet, only for brief moments on occasion. Celandine wasn't scared for her, nor was he wishing to control her, but.. something she said long ago gave him reason to pause.
"Celandine, I'm glad I have you. I want to be with you, even when the world changes."
When. Not 'if', when. Perhaps, it was a simple mix up. The wrong word being used. The world was always changing, inevitably, and that was well known. Sometimes, his love was a very intricate puzzle that he never hesitated to try and figure out. He adored her.
He just had no idea what her reasonings for. Maybe this puzzle was for another time.
