Personality poison is a kind, hardworking dragon. he focuses mainly on his work and on supporting his family. he's been through a lot since the start of this clan, they all have. he knows he's not particularly smart and doesn't have the same capacity for love and care many of the younger dragons have. but what he is is dutiful. his job is mainly to take care of the lair and he takes a great pleasure and pride from making sure his extended family has warm, dry places to sleep each night. |

technically by marriage to acid, poison is the second in charge of the clan. however, he doesn't want the responsibility, instead choosing to support acid when and where he can. otherwise he mostly cleans and organizes the lair, making sure each and every dragon has somewhere safe and comfortable to return to each night.
with acid, it was love at first sight. she was stressed and anxious about the clan, what with then-leaders precious and sir being so disconnected and out of the loop. poison didn't really know how to help, but he did know how to be someone's support. he planted himself down next to acid one day and never left her side. he married her not too long after that and has since gotten to watch as she became a stronger and more confident leader the more precious and sir pulled away from the clan.
watching his nephew leave was the hardest thing he's ever done. obviously, being exalted is a big honor. however, it sent precious into a depression, stripped the hope from sir's eyes, and made skylight grow up far too quickly for poison's liking. poison had always liked arcade and had always been a confidant for the independent young dragon. now he's gone.
these days, poison sticks to taking care of his own sons, making a space for his wife to just be without having to put up her strong leader front, and making sure the lair is clean and usable. venom is a rare respite from his grief and duty.
