Iris

The accident had left Iris' wings shattered, covered in what looked like shards of glass, but might have been something else entirely.
She could fly; yes; but it was different from how other dragons flew. She never talked, but communicated with low, humming noises and body language. She never smiled.

She got her name from the lei she was wearing when she arrived at the Light clan.
Her body is covered in dark tatoos, ink made by Shadow dragons. She drew things, sometimes. Blooming flowers. Explosions of color. But there was a shadow to everything she made, an underlying darkness, waiting to get out.

Some say it was not just her wings that were broken, but her soul as well. That her mind was a broken mirror, casting rainbows at those who looked but biting anyone who dared to touch.
But really, who knows?
Maybe Iris herself didn't.
