xx Ancient and strong, and the proverbial bulwark surrounding the group of fallen gods, Starlight stands tall as chief advisor to young Icarus. Being one of the original ascended gods after the time of the Old Gods, he is something of a legend to the newer followers of Icarus and his word is highly regarded. He spends his days taking care of requests, concerns, and politics that Icarus is too busy to handle. It's thanks to Starlight that the group is as functional as it is and not simply wandering about aimlessly, due to his unending patience and flawless expertise.
xx Starset was a military general in life for a mortal king, and won many battles that brought him great fame and admiration. Many believed he would make a better king than the one he served, but he was content with his position in life and didn't want for more. When his king passed and was succeeded by his son, a selfish and cruel dragon, Starlight saw how his people suffered under the new king's hand. He lost many friends in senseless battles before he struck up a deal with a neighboring kingdom to overthrow the cruel king. The two kingdoms merged together to become a much better place, and Starlight ascended to godhood due to the compassion and devotion he showed for his people. Many centuries later when Icarus ascended, Starlight fell prey to his silver tongue and friendly nature, befriending the younger god while completely unaware of Icarus' lust for power. Ancient Knife
xx Blindsided when Icarus' malicious ways surfaced, Starlight was cast from the heavens simply by way of association, and he wandered the mortal realm for a year alone, at a loss for what to do. He grieved for the friend he'd thought he had, and for the manipulation he'd fallen for. Then he stumbled across Icarus once more, his old friend now reduced to an angry hatchling. After a long deliberation and seeing how protective Icarus' adoptive mother Pumpkaboo was of him, Starlight decided to help raise Icarus as well in hopes of helping his friend become a better being. Starlight pledged himself to the self-proclaimed child-king, and has been his official advisor and confidant ever since.

» Though one of the most ancient and respected beings that surround Icarus, most of the time Starlight is the overworked father of the group.
» Sometimes he can swear he still hears the prayers of his most devoted mortal worshipers, which leaves him feeling conflicted.
