Blight is a trickster of unknown origin. No one knows where he came from or how old he is, only that he now plagues the Stormfrey Plains. His wildcard nature shapes his interactions with other Independents and travelers. He is mostly seen at night and is rumored to be slightly nocturnal. Though he steers clear of Mavi, he amuses himself by messing with unsuspecting travelers. This behavior can run anywhere from pranks and raids, depending solely on his fickle mood.

The most curious part of Blight is his tendency to travel between planes. He leaves his corporal form and visits different places in Sornieth, alternate dimensions, or simply stays as a ghost-like being. Blight, because he had this ability from an early age, is well-versed in the rewards and dangers of astral projection. For those brave enough to ask him about it or ask him any question, really, he usually dodges the question in such a cunning way that they end up with more confusion than clarity. It doesn't help that his enigma of a personality is hard to pin down -- even by those who have known him for a couple of years.
