The hallway patroler- Uproar Quinn

Lurking along the ceilings in the Keep, Uproar moved quietly his colorful costume invisible in the arches of the halls. He was not like other guards with their fancy armor and spears. Uproar relied on more…unconventional ways to keep the peace. He was Queen Seraphine’s only patrol guard within her castle. The very thought of him was often enough to deter any trouble in the Keep. Understanding of Upraor’s interventions spread quickly through the Nightshades. The message was clear- take it outside.
Uproar’s methods were unorthodox even for a Nightshade. He would appear out of nowhere spiraling from the ceiling like a marionette. His face painted in a grotesque grin, his eyes gleaming with a wild light. He used his Nightshadian powers to flicker in and out of his quarry’s vision, a laughing sentinel of the queen’s. Though Uproar possessed other powers as well. Raised up by Malae, Uproar learned high level illusion magic. It was his talent for twisting reality into nightmarish shapes that haunted those afflicted long after they cross him. Dragons learned quickly that it was far better to obey the queen’s law than to incur Uproar’s wrath.
Despite his reputation, Uproar was not a cruel clown off the clock. It was simply what he had been bought for and he found it better to ‘put dregs in their place’ sooner rather than later. He quite liked his clan mates and found his place among the magically gifted students of Brightheart’s. He was loyal to Queen Seraphine, reporting back to her faithfully and intervening on her orders. But even as he enforced the queen's will, Uproar couldn’t help but feel bored. He was a CLOWN he wanted to preform! So he puts on shows after hours for his clan and sometimes you’ll see him doing the berries and cream dance for a hatchling before returning to his duties.
