Biography

L2mfHet.png
Exousiai ; Kind | Blunt | Aloof ; Fernweh

Haibaraad is an angel from a realm that can only be described as Fernweh by mortal ears. The concept of gender is alien to them, but they don't mind being called he/him or male. Their full name is forbidden for mortal ears, but they insist that if their shortened name Haibaraad is too much for mortals to comprehend, then they may call them Brad. They persistently insist they be called Brad even if the mortal in question perfectly pronounces their angelic name.

Like all angels, Brad is capable of changing their form. Their true form is blinding to mortals so they try to take a form that mortal eyes may be able to perceive better. On Sornieth they take the form of a wildclaw and a clouddancer. The longer they hide their true form, the more likely some of it is to bleed out, hence why mortals may still see some extra wings or eyes on occasion.

Brad has arrived to Sornieth to investigate to anomalies of space and time that appear to be occurring more and more frequently. As an angel of Exousiai it is their duty to maintain order within the multiverse and to dispose of anything that poses a threat to the order of Space and Time.

Brad tries their best to be friendly toward mortals, but there is a disconnect between them and non-celestial beings. They fail to understand mortal emotions and they cannot empathize with them. The feelings of mortals and how they process things such as death, which are no concern to an angel, perplexes Brad. Whenever they try to understand, they appear blunt and otherwise unpleasant to many mortals. This disconnect sometimes sends the wrong message to mortals, and Brad may find their friendly intentions met with hostility.

Brad doesn't have a voice of their own. Instead when they speak their voice is projected into the heads of the mortals they wish to speak to and this voice takes the sound of a voice that the mortal listening finds comforting and familiar. Often this voice sounds like the individual's mother, or a guardian figure important to the individual's youth. But others may hear the voices of people they may not have met, but think of highly. Brad struggles to communicate to those who think in pictures rather than words, or those who have never heard a voice before.
