I can’t decide if this is love or hate.

the waves drift me away like some cruel fate.

And I was excited for something new.
but your words began to set off alarms.
They made me want to forget about you.
Yet I was unable to resist your charms.

I had to tell myself to stay away.
For one day you were here and the next gone.
What was I to do between love and hate?
