So I'll start a breeding project on Flight Rising and I'll show up at the nesting grounds and I'll go, "Can I get a terracotta/spruce/obsidian dragon, please?"
And they go, "No. It's carrot/pistachio/purple."
And I go, "Okaaay!"
And then I go to the coli.
And then I come out of the coli and I go, "Any updates?"
And they go "Yeah, we had a orange/spruce/gloom dragon while you were in the coli. Because we hate you. Now take this skin that doesn't work well on any of your dragons, go fetch!"
And I go, "Okaaay!" and I go over to gather fest currency and go, "Can I have some glowing embers please?" and they go "NO!"
And I go, "Okaaay!"
And they go, "You're a little focused on these other ocs, aren't you?"
And I go, "Nooo," and they go, "SAY IT!" and I go, “I would die for these ocs."
And then I go back over to foresee progeny, which just destroys my hopes and dreams even more, and I go, "Can I please get a terracotta/spruce obsidian?" and they go "No! In fact, we're going to have a terracotta/spruce/eldritch dragon, and you're gonna start another breeding project for a dragon who also needs a gem gene!!"
And I go, "Why are you doing this to me?!"
And they go, "Because we're the breeding project tab, and life is a clucking nightmare!"
