Phantom was Shade-touched. No. Shade blessed. Phantom wasn’t originally shade-touched. She was abandoned due to her size as a child and found by a pair of Skydancers in the Southern Icefield, where she had been left to freeze to death. Phantom’s white eyes inspired her name and her parents raised their child as best as they could. Her adoptive parents had been Ice exalts and brought their beloved child alongside with them into the Fortress of the Ends when they were called to duty. A fatal mistake. The day the Horrorbeasts attacked Phantom was in the middle of the turmoil. She didn’t survive unscathed. The Icewarden and exalts wanted to kill her, or lock her away for the rest of eternity. Her foster parents refused, fighting the Ice exalts with all the power they had. It wasn’t enough. That day, Phantom watched her little family perish in front of her. That day, something inside of Phantom broke, something inside of her snapped. She used her infection as a deadly weapon, infecting dragons left and right before fleeing into the cover of the night. She dealt a blow to the Icewarden, a little shade touched hatchling daring to fight. Due to some miracle, Phantom escaped alive. The hatchling was found years later, a strong bitter dragon in hunt of the gods. The Clan of the Forgotten Dreams accepted her plea and that was how Phantom the bounty hunter, joined the ranks of the Forgotten. Phantom is a cold dragon with a heart made from ice. She will stop at nothing and no one to capture her target and bring back their bloody heart to her employer. |

With Phantom, she is unattached and dedicated, willing to get herself scarred and scratched up if it means she wins. Most of the dragons she's dispatched she knew nothing about; where they came from, what drove them, nothing. Dawnbreaker and Riot are two very special exemptions from this. She's heard all about these two; that they've been on the run for a while and escaped The Forgotten. But mostly, she's heard how devoted Dawnbreaker is to the gods. Willing to die for them. That makes Phantom want to kill him more than most other dragons. He's a fool, he's soft, and he's so much like- no. She can't think about them. Not after all this time. All she has to do is kill two dragons and make her bosses happy. Then she can move on. She constantly has nightmares about the fateful day that turned her into the dragon she is today. She is nearly unstoppable.
