Biography
Adopted 7.23.20
What a big, beautiful baby boy! He's a bit shy; I'm going to see if I can get another Tundra around to get him talking before I name him. (But I'm looking out for a Sweetpuff to bond with this floof-meister right away!)
---
---
So what happened was, literally eighteen minutes after I got Osy, who at that time was not yet Osy...
Well, let me take a moment to describe that, because here we've got this cavern with a cloud of fae and one Imperial with the first floof arrives. Up close, we can see that under all that cream-colored silky summer hair, the Tundra himself is just coming out of his teens, shy and awkward as anything, eager to please but even more eager to be out of the way. When invited to make himself at home, he sort of sidles to the back of the main cave, like an elephant pretending it isn’t in the room, and then hunkers down in the corner opposite the entrance to the grotto like he’d grown there. We face east, and so, with as late as it was, he’s totally disappeared into the shadows.
And that's when the bell goes off that we're getting Crow.
I leave without saying a word to the first one. Just come back in with that baby black bundle of love, and set the little fellow down on the floor of the lair. Right away Crow lifts his nose up into the air-- I guess Tundras have some sense of smell! Then suddenly, we all see the glint off two pink eyes going wide back in that shadowed corner. Next thing we know, Crow is bouncing down the whole length of the lair for all the world like a big bunny under a bigger black toupee. Floof! Floof! Floof! And our heaped-up pile of hair in the corner just snakes out into the center of the lair floor. (I had no idea that they slide on that fur! It makes sense, though-- like polar bears.) He lays there stretched out like a living rug and lets that baby boy climb all over him.
As I said, it was pretty late in the day, so, not long after that the two fluff-meisters are back in the corner, big one curled around the little one, and I was able to work in that discussion about names. Our cream and chocolate fellow was actually really looking forward to living in a water clan, and adores plunging into the water. I suppose they’re like polar bears in more ways than one. So much for worrying about what Tundra will do at the beach. Anyway, at that point he let me know he's going to be Osprey, to go along with Crow and in honor of his new Flight.

Original lore: This dragon was a free gift from TheSquishyKing if you ever lose interest in them please send them back.
Kingfisher is one of the three Tundra who came home with Tigerlily at the end of Tiger's career working with Tundra who had become separated from their clans and lost the trail home. Kingfisher is a wiry, edgy Tundra. The clan suspects Spiral in his ancestry... that, or peacock. He is impossibly vain and any unoccupied moment will find him combing and twirling his own fur.
