INFECTION

He/They

. ____________ .

completely blind, Infection navigates the world by the limited view they have access to via their forehead gem and their three antennae. They are extremely matted with blood, staining their once beautiful pearly white coat an ugly assortment of pink. They are omnivorous, but prioritize red meats and shrimp.

Infection is a nasty and feral skydancer, born to a massively large flock of Mirrors. Every aspect of their personality mirrors that breeds tenacity and aggression. They will always fight for their food, and anyone making sideways looks at their meal will receive a scratch sure to fester and ooze. They smell thickly of rot and blood, old and fresh. Their wings are drenched in the blood more copiously than any other of their limbs, a sign of their position, of their dominance above their pack members.

They were brought up completely without any semblance of gender roles. If you wanted to survive, you fought dirty, you ate dirty, and you killed dirty. If you are weak, if you cannot continue on, you will be slain and eaten by those around you. In the never-ending thrall of Plague's busiest area, you cannot afford to slow down, eat elegantly, be gentle, wear fancy and ornate gowns. It's a dog eat dog world, and you? You're the dog.

Quote:
Q: Do your eyes hurt?

A: Softly, with the gait of a predator emerging from the brush and scrubs, infection approaches. His feathers lie in tatters and ribbons at their feet, and what remains is much too weathered to be much more than decoration on his hide. Beak clicking together, they keep their distance, but he humors your question.

For now.

"No."

At least, not as much as the rest of their body.
