Shasta

Born naturally blind, Shasta depended on other forms of sight, involving his ears, which have improved hearing. He was a natural charmer and heard gossip from the dragons he dated and hooked up with.

When Shasta heard about Spectrum, he at first detested them. Why would you need to overthrow the royal family? They’re wonderful rulers. Who cares how they want to have fun? They deserve it. One day, his sharp ears caught gossip about the news about a certain innocent dragon sentenced to death for entertainment. Happened every couple months, whatever, but Shasta listened closer and heard his brother's name. His heart shattered into shards like glass. He felt his heart remold that day, into something sharper, a sword. Shasta swore revenge on Char and Postel and the rest of the family.

He listened to the gossip around his hometown. He eventually caught word that about a Spectrum member named Halo in Daybreak City, the jewel of the kingdom, after months of eavesdropping, and sought to find him.

After grueling months of travel, Shasta finally made it to Daybreak City. He asked around for a white coatl named Halo. After a bit, he finally got his answer from a friendly old snapper they called Gram.

"Oh, Halo? You're talking about that good-natured delivery dragon? He's where you find all the other mail carriers."

"And where is that, miss?"
