Goldensun was chosen as a hatchling by the former Queen Shadowchaser, Goldensun was to take Shadowchaser's place as the clan's Queen. The royal advisor, a Skydancer said that she sensed something special in the Coatl hatchling.
Goldensun is bright and optimistic, still being a young ruler she relies heavily on the help of the royal court. Goldensun is easily stressed from her royal responsibilities and she would much rather be talking and goofing off with dragons of her age than handling disputes among the clan or handling clan alliances. When she gets really stressed Goldensun will begin to tremble and her Mossy Cerdae familiar, Moss will come to Goldensun's side to comfort her.
Golden especially likes it when Buttercup comes over to share her and father's inventions. Goldensun actually owns a few of her friends inventions and she delights in getting to see the inventions being tested.
