Herring

Notes:

- Tiamat's business partner and fellow fisherman.
- Trained his osprey named Finnick to catch fish with him, Finnick always gets a treat after a successful haul.
- Herring is extremely socially awkward, and doesn't pick up on a lot of cues in conversation. Tiamat has tried to teach him, but he normally ends up hiding behind her and letting her handle the customers.
- Most of what he wants to say ends up caught inside his head, and he struggles to get them out in a way that makes sense to most people. Tiamat understands him best due to knowing him for a long time, but the same doesn't go for others. It's led to him being afraid to talk to people that aren't her.
- Leepy, his five-toed pilco, is notorious for invading other shopkeeper's stalls and sometimes even wrecking merchandise. Khalid is the most frequent victim of the little bugger's destructive nature, which has led to him stomping over to Herring and yelling at him many times. Tiamat always defends Herring though, as Herring isn't very great at defending himself in an argument.
- Appears to be helplessly tangled in fishing line, but it's completely on purpose and something he just likes the sensation of against his scales.
- Fishing is his greatest passion, and he's always overjoyed when customers come by and buy his catches. If asked for fishing tips, he's happy to tell others everything he knows.
