Biography
Young Erebus was fortunate enough to be found during one of the many hunting trips of the clan. He was inept at hunting enough for himself and surely would die of starvation. He was taken in and cared for by the older dragons. Since then he's been a bit of a handful, often wandering away from the lair to pursue his own interests. Of course then Erebus gets lost due to his poor eyesight, only being able to see well up close. He can make out and recognize larger shapes in the landscape, but when the Tangled Wood is primarily large trees and darkness, it doesn't help much.
Thank the Shadowbinder that the clan has any Tundras to sniff him out.
Though inquisitive, he is quite shy to dragons that he isn't familiar with and will speak in a low voice, if at all.
He has the uncanny ability to see the spirits of deceased Imperials that have not moved on from the material world. If he concentrates, he may detect their locations far from where he stands. He is still young however and doesn't know what to do with the ability. He often could be found playing with them in secluded areas, considering them to be his friends. The older clan members dismiss these entities as simply imaginary friends of his. Erebus doesn't know much of death himself, and so he doesn't realize that these are spirits of dead dragons.

As he matured, he began to realize what he was really seeing. The fact that it did not stop made him uncomfortable. The clan had come to believe that something was terribly wrong with Erebus, that he might have had some kind of sickness of the mind. With no guidance on this ability, Erebus too began to believe that he was sick. He was amazed to know that the clan wouldn't shun him or drive him out of their territory, but their just alphas saw no reason to do so. For that, he's been grateful. He was harmless, or so they believed.
