Biography

Mate of Artemis.

Reactions towards Primal dragons vary wildly from Clan to Clan, and even between individuals. Nightsnarl and Lightningscar, Starscourge's parents, refused to see him as anything but a normal hatchling, but went overboard in reassuring him that he wasn't different--thus making it clear how different he was. Others, like Silvershine, viewed him as a bad omen, while Sunwing learned from Moonwatcher that Starscourge was more closely connected to the Shadowbinder. Starscourge, for his part, just wanted to be treated like a normal dragon.

He experienced that for the first time at a gathering, about three moons after his hatching. He saw some ParadoxClan dragons talking with one another--one of which had eyes that were perhaps more unusual than his own, almost a dozen pairs running down the length of her body! Excited by the idea of being able to bond with a dragon similar to himself, he approached them in time to hear that two of them were leaving ParadoxClan to be with the ones they loved. He introduced himself cautiously, assuring them that he wouldn't tell anyone of what he'd learned.

The Pearlcatcher couldn't meet his gaze, and the Tundra was a bit too interested in his eyes, but the Ridgeback didn't react to him any differently than a normal dragon. For the first time, he found someone who actually, genuinely didn't care about his eyes one way or another.

He spent time with her again after that, until eventually she suggested joining the other two ParadoxClan dragons in being Clanless.

Now, he's found himself in ParadoxClan with Artemis after learning that Wildmoon worked with Soleil to drive out the previous leader of StormClan, someone Starscourge deeply respected and admired. He still feels that ParadoxClan resembles Clan politics a bit too strongly, but at least he knows the leader Malyxion isn't a murderer. Also, this little spirit thing has started following him around...? Weird.
