Biography
THORNE
BARGHEST LORE AND LINEAGE PROJECT
GENERATION N/A BITTEN BY HIDE/DRYSTAN
CORVUS OCULUM CORVI NON ERUIT
“a raven does not pick out an eye of another raven”
A flurry of feathers and fur. A lone wolf amongst a flock of ravens and crows. The birds take flight and the wolf is gone. A being of both land, sky, and shadows. A creature closer to death than its prey.
This is the tale of the Barghest, Thorne. |

A murder of crows roost within the dark forest. Their calls echo to a still silence as night approaches. A secondary flock swoops towards the ground but only to morph into the shadows...and from those shadows lurk a beast. A massive dark wolf like beast with fur entwined with thorns softly wanders towards the river. He takes a drink as his spirits inform him of secrets that he had yet to learn. Especially of those who threaten his portion of the woods. Thorne stalked a small camp of poachers that seemed to try to make their home within his woods. Across from him he could see Hide lurking between the first row of trees. The prey could sense Hide; that is what he does best. They squirmed around their fire, constantly looking around themselves. This was the best part of hunting with Hide. Tormented souls are the best and he was a Reaper after all. Hide made the first move...a slight twig snap. The prey leaped to their feet and feathers fly. Hide followed his lead in the attack making quick work of their prey. Leaving no evidence. Crows and Ravens picking the remains. It made Thorne remember his own death or rebirth as one would say. His death was within the jaws of Hide and Drystan. Torn apart, mistaken for a threat, which wasn’t entirely a lie with his Shadowbinder’s Spies blood. However, they realized that he had kin within the Gemini Clan when he sat back up in a flurry of ravens. His Momento Mori blood seemed to save him but the attack has given him a curse. No one knows who gave it to him. Some assume Drystan since he and Thorne seem to share similar powers involving their elemental abilities. Others assume Hide since he and Thorne favor the shadows, to lurk and stalk, and strike fear and paranoia to their prey. Thorne never really cared who gave him the “curse”. It is similar to the gift he had gained from his ancestor to change his form to a raven at will. This “curse” is just another tool he could use to spy, hunt, and reap. So strangers of the dark woods that surround the elusive Gemini Clan be warned. Be warned of the shadows for the hide beasts, be warned of the murder of crows and flocks of ravens for they’re spies, and be respectful of the living trees. |

Shadow: Those with shade-hewn eyes covet the darkness. These beasts are tied the most closely to the moon, their power waxing and waning with the lunar cycle.
