Biography
Uh-oh, looks like this plucky young ornithologist wandered a little too far from her home lair (92028, Scrimshaw), and now she's off to see the world! If ever you feel the need to exalt, she'd really appreciate it if you could just return her to the home lair, or to the 'Dragons Off To See The World' thread, here. This is not necessary, but she would be very grateful!

I've decided I want set out to research birds! Of course, there are many great birdwatching opportunities here in the Sunbeam Ruins, but I'd like to learn more about the species native to other parts of the world. From what I've read, there are some truly amazing birds out there that I just have to see with my own eyes!

I've met a friendly wind clan at the Reedcleft Ascent, and my new friend Kila and I went out to birdwatch at the Zephyr Steppes. I saw a flock of False-Peacock quail flying below us during our flight, and watched as they soared away. When we found a good place to sit, a couple of Jade Peacocks scurried by, and they didn't seem to have have any feathers! They were big enough to be at least a year old, but Kila told me later that they didn't grow plumage until about two years old. On the way back we saw a Crowned Roc in the distance and I found some feathers that I kept. Kila told me about the birds we saw as I didn't know what they were all called. I plan to leave sometime tomorrow to research more birds in another region.

I have stayed in a fairly friendly Earth clan for a good bit now, called the Septarian Territory. Although not quite what I would consider a natural bird to the local caves, there happened to be an abundance of canaries that have settled around many of the caves! Fascinating little bundles of feathers flocking about, singing beautiful little tunes as they flew about. I cannot wait until I get to see some more wonderful birds!

I traveled south—as far south as one can go! The cold didn't put me off, however, as I was excited to see what treasures Icewarden's domain held for me. I wandered along the tundra and then through the towering crags of the Fortress of Ends. I eventually found myself in the city of Rekhanci, a lovely kingdom! I met another traveler there (who actually wanted to be called Traveler, strangely enough) and we spent some time together exploring the city before we eventually said our goodbyes and he set off for greener pastures. I stayed for a bit longer myself, but I am always ready for my next adventure!
