Biography
- Not a Wildclaw, but is a dromaeosaurid-like dragon.
- Dull-colored plumage
- His body is plumed like a cinereous vulture with the head more feathered.
- Well-groomed, short and mane-like ruff blankets his whole neck.
- Has the standard broad wings and short crest of feathers seen in scavenging-variant Wildclaw.
- Inherited his father's broad snout.
- Filaments underneath his feet provides protection against hot surfaces.
- Hatched with his forelimbs feathered as wings like a dromaeosaurid; a rare physical trait Wildclaw could inherit.
- His element allows him to easily climb rocky cliffs with the aid of his wings. Before he learned to fly, he was often seen sprinting after lizards on the castle's walls.
- There is a minuscule chance for Earth dragons to rise in a degenerative state after their death. Should the time come, it is ordered that his lifeless body should be destroyed ASAP to prevent this. Yes, he's ok with this.
- foppish; places great importance in appearance
- self-conscious and anxious
- masks his insecurities by acting pompous
- vindictive
- lickspittle
- looks up to his father, wishing to be more like him
- He's Earth because his late mother ran off to lay her eggs in an Earth-aligned territory just to spite the father.
- Wildclaw dragons have keen eyes that are fixed into their sockets (the official hatchling artwork says otherwise, but I don't care), so Erik is unable to do his shifty look. Instead, he'll tilt his head with neck contortions while conversing to appear attentive.
- One of his mannerisms is tapping his right killing claw, especially when embarrassed or lost in thought. He's often unaware of how loud taps can sound. This frequently annoyed Hector, a nobledragon Erik is acquainted with, telling him to stop. Then Erik will get flustered and reply something like "shut up", escalating the situation.
- A slow learner. Regarded as a dunce by many. Not helping his case when he acts like a know-it-all.
- Has an interest in art, but doesn't pursue it, because his father told him it is a profession traditionally only for the weak. A Wildclaw of higher ranking should only collect art for social status.
- Textile arts fascinates him
- Can speak basic beast language, but not very well. Not only he finds it difficult, he doesn't bother to learn, for his father believes that beastkind are not "worth the time" and are just prey "smart enough to talk".
