The pack had gathered as the sun began rising over the Tangled Woods. The thick trees kept most of the light out leaving those under the shelter of the forest standing in dim light and deep shadows. Four nests made of moss and feathers lay peacefully with eggs in each of them, the eggs' parents stayed near the nests as the eggs twitched and cracked until finally Aska and Embla's single egg shattered and broke apart leaving a small male pup to shake the remains of the shell off.
Aska watched his son proudly as Embla nuzzled the young one, the older male named him "Vini" which means "Leader".
