Ector 2302- Nexus Organization Project started shortly before the update 31.20.09.22.3b was introduced into the database systems. The goal of the project was to release into use a line of specially bred dragons, able to work in dangerous locations and programmed to get rid of specified targets.
Ector lived in groups which combined into a single herd with a heavily hierarchical structure. These squadrons received commands directly from the core of the management: Nexus.
Ector work greatly as single units too. Their increased physical strength helps them with work that demands lifting heavy objects, saving dragons from under fallen buildings and in fighting. They’re very fast and agile which lets them move effectively even on the ceiling, if they need to ambush and eliminate a target.
They have a highly developed cortical implant which sends signals straight to the thalamus. It also controls the hypothalamus which makes the Ectors susceptible to false stimulation. During fighting in which the Ector evidently fails, the hypothalamus gets a signal simulating extreme hunger or thirst which makes the cyborg lose all inhibition, making it unpredictable and hungry for blood.
The core of the cortical implant can be programmed to release individual phases of the dragon’s activity to each command. It allows the modifications of the Ector in terms of: feeling hunger, feeling pain, reactions to damage, obedience, the stage of hierarchy wanted or even saving information in the hippocamp.
The hippocamp was modified in a way so the Ectors get rid of unnecessary data and saved only the most important info. It means that even if the Ector gets damaged and feels hatred towards someone, that info can get deleted in an instant, without hesitation if the owner feels like it. This way turns the Ector back into a neutral one.
Ector model 2302 is customised for silent and effective work. This dragon is very intelligent, learn quickly and is almost unheard during all of it. Most of the dragons of this kind are mute as the vast amount of communications is done with systems of remote communication.
However models made for special orders may possess a throat implant allowing them to speak.
It’s not anything special to meet a surgeon Ector, an accountant Ector or (which is the most common) a guarding Ector.
