Biography
Velvet pillows soft and plush,
Golden leafs thick and lush,
Marble walls run through with swirls,
A smile on his face as his tail curls.
Pleasure is obvious on his scarlet face,
This hatchling would never rush or race,
He is used to the luxury of a palace,
Thrones, turrets, tapestries,
He drinks from a chalice.
Diamonds and gold are engraved on his side,
A constant reminder of his old life,
For though he's still used to luxurious suites,
His kingdom went to war and suffered defeat.
His castle crumbled before his eyes,
Yet Royale only watched and would never let by,
A tear from his eyes sparkling gold like the sun,
Even when his old life was over and done.
~ Written by Fennecfox21
Royale was the prince of the Kingdom of Eternity, an ironically named kingdom that was destroyed by the beastclans. One of his maids, Calico, brought him to the nursery of the clan asking for them to protect him now that his family was gone. The clan took them both in and the nursery became Royale's new home. The skydancer had been enchanted to remain a hatchling forever, like most of the others in the nursery, but had trouble fitting in because of his background. After living as a prince for so long, it was a harsh contrast for him to be plucked from a palace and rehomed in a common nursery. He came off as haughty to the others, but Rue kept trying to befriend him and in the end, succeeded, at the same time opening a gateway and letting the others in to Royale's circle of friends.
